Purchase info

You can see examples of Shop-Pods, Royal Domes, and a 6m x 3.5m Podservatory near our offices in Peterborough. We can also advise where to see the closest installation to your location. Please contact james@outsidespacesolutions.co.uk to arrange.

You can also check out these video compilations for the Podservatory and Royal Domes below!

Our installers need a flat, solid base to install on, which we can provide at additional cost.

Royal Domes can be placed on slabs, concrete or an external raised decking base, which we can install from £2,400. Internal timber decking starts from £1,400. We don’t do any hard standings work.

For the Podservatory we can build a plinth on top of your hard standing or build a timber or composite decking for it to be installed on.

Heat and lighting is available for all Outside Space Solution products. For the Podservatory this is best to fixed to the original structure, so we’d recommend consulting a local electrician, although we can advise or quote if required.

For the Royal Domes you’ll need an armoured cable run to the back of the dome with an external double socket. We are happy to price this up but to save money we advise consulting a local electrician to check the fuse board and cable run required.

All items have different development times due to their unique qualities, but as an example Podservatory lead time is around 12 weeks.

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on bespoke items but will work with you should you need any adaptations or troubleshooting. For example, we can provide replacement panels or re-powdercoating in the unlikely event you require it.

All Outside Space Solutions’ products ship to Europe. International orders are sent via freight and will require additional time for processing.

We’ll provide an average quote free of charge as soon as you enquire. Depending on order size and location we’ll arrange a final survey at your property and provide a final quote breaking down materials, installation and delivery.

For Podservatory installation please provide an estimated size and flooring requirements – and send a photo of the proposed site to speed up enquiries.

Surveys may have a fee depending on location, which will be deducted off final order.

We charge sales tax according to the country the purchase is made from. VAT is included in the quote price.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you require any last-minute changes or cancellations. We cannot guarantee that changes will be made after being approved.

We accept BACS and credit cards from most countries

We offer finance to commercial customers but we will have domestic finances options too. Call on 01733 665295 for more info.

Royal Dome info

Royal Domes are virtually indestructible – using polycarbonate sheets that are the same used for helicopter windscreens, plus strong A-Grade aluminium profiles that are non-corrosive, meaning little to no maintenance. The rest of the construction includes cast nylon rollers, stainless steel fixings, and leak-proof EPDM sealants.

The sheets are UV coated on both sides to protect against sunlight, whilst also withstanding heavy rain, wind and snow. There is also vent extraction to allow hot air escape.

The lockable door provides maximum security.

Overall lifespan of the Royal Dome is 25+ years.

The standard 4m diameter, 2.5m high Royal Domes are in Anthracite, but there’s a choice of four powder-coated colours.

You can make bespoke orders in any colour with sizes from 3m to 7m, priced on enquiry.

Podservatory info

Made of A-Grade non-corrosive aluminium alloy with super durable powder-coating, plus UV-protected polycarbonate sheets that are 12 times stronger than toughened glass (the same used in helicopter windows!) you can expect a low-maintenance lifespan of 25+ years on your Podservatory.

In most circumstances you won’t need planning permission. If your Podservatory is larger than 30m2 or if it’s on a listed building or conservation area then you may need planning permission.

Our installers need a flat, solid base to install your Podservatory, which we can provide at additional cost. We can build a plinth on top of your hard standing or build a timber or composite decking for it to be installed on.

There’s no maximum size, and the minimum is 900mm high.

The Podservatory is sealed with high-quality EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) which is a versatile and resilient elastomer that will resist harsh environmental conditions. This retains heat – and provides leak resistance from rain and settled snow. Additional heaters can be added to the structure.

Your Podservatory will heat up – just like any transparent material – but the roof has a UV coating on it to detract rays and as heat rises you can simply open the roof and the hot air will dissipate.

If required, we can add a frosted vinyl or film on the panels.

We can paint the frame in any colour of your choice, including wood imitation.

The structure needs to have a fixed section each end for strength, but we can design two or more smaller opening sections to make the open space bigger.
